THE FOLLOWING ARE TERMS OF A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND FLORIDA ONLINE SCHOOL OF INSURANCE. CONDITIONS OF USE BY USING THIS WEBSITE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR ASSENT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS OF USE WITHOUT LIMITATION OR QUALIFICATION. PLEASE READ THESE CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE. FLORIDA ONLINE SCHOOL OF INSURANCE MAY MODIFY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT ANY TIME BY UPDATING THIS POSTING. YOU ARE BOUND BY ANY SUCH REVISIONS AND SHOULD THEREFORE PERIODICALLY VISIT THIS PAGE TO REVIEW THE THEN CURRENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS TO WHICH YOU ARE BOUND.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
The service is a 40 hour state-approved course offered entirely online, which upon successful completion of such course, satisfies state required pre-licensing for the Florida 2-15 Life, Health and Variable Annuity, 2-14 Life & Variable Annuity or 2-40 Health insurance license, respective to the course for which you register. This course will cover those topics likely to be found on the above mentioned state examination, and is created in complete compliance with rules set forth by the Florida Department of Financial Services. At the completion of this course, you must successfully pass an online exam with a score of 70% or greater in order to receive credit for this course and be eligible to sit for the state exam.
It is important to understand that the Florida Life, Health and Variable Annuity Study Manual offered with our “Premier Courses” is a required text by the state of Florida. This manual may cover topics not included in the course itself, and is intended to supplement those course lessons offered by Florida Online School of Insurance. Florida Online School of Insurance “Basic Courses” are intended solely for those individuals who have already obtained or plan to obtain a copy of the Florida Life, Health and Variable Annuity Study Manual through other resources.
REGISTRATION
You agree that you will not allow others to use your member name, password and/or account and you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account. You agree that only you are authorized to take the final exam and are required to do so without any assistance from other parties and/or materials during such exam, including but not limited to the Florida Online School of Insurance or other websites, books, etc. You understand and acknowledge that a violation of such standards shall result in the loss of course credit and administrative sanction by the Florida Department of Financial Services. You agree to notify Florida Online School of Insurance immediately of any unauthorized use of your password and/or account. Florida Online School of Insurance shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of your member name, password and/or account and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Florida Online School of Insurance for any improper, unauthorized or illegal uses of the same. You must be at least 18 years of age to register for this course.

Florida Online School of Insurance reserves the right to do any of the following, at any time, without notice: (1) to modify, suspend or terminate operation of or access to the Site, or any portion of the Site, for any reason; (2) to modify or change the Site, or any portion of the Site, and any applicable policies or terms; and (3) to interrupt the operation of the Site, or any portion of the Site, as necessary to perform routine or non-routine maintenance, error correction, or other changes.
Refund Policy: Refunds will not be given after a period of twenty-four (24) hours from time of registration. The Florida Life, Health and Variable Annuity Study Manual, and all costs associated with the manual, such as taxes and shipping & handling, is nonrefundable. You will have ninety (90) days from the date of registration to complete this course and pass your online exam. If you are unable to complete this course and exam within this period, re-registration, including new payment of current course, will be required.
STUDENT REFERRAL PROGRAM
Existing Student (Referrer): We pay the incentive to an existing student (referrer) by check after we verify that the new student they referred has fully registered, payment from new student for such course has been received in full, and all other terms of this offer have been entirely satisfied. We generally issue referral checks 10 - 15 business days from date of new student's registration. We may report to the IRS the value of any incentive or other premium and any applicable taxes are the responsibility of the recipient. Florida Online School of Insurance reserves the right to determine in its sole discretion the eligibility of new students (referees) and existing students (referrers) for this offer. We reserve the right to disqualify referrals in circumstances where we reasonably believe they were not sent to us in good faith.
Eligibility: To Qualify for the Incentive: New Student must provide referral code during registration, and all parties must satisfy all terms of the applicable referral program. Upon completion of new student registration, Referrer shall receive an email confirming such referral.
